Skilled Trades Job Fair - March 3rd, 2026
Students from all nine of our area high schools attended the Spring Skilled Trades Job Fair shown above. This event included numerous companies and unions looking to hire motivated and qualified students into their career pathway. This was a busy day as more than 275 interviews were conducted. Several companies spoke to students about scheduling additional interviews and beginning the process to hire them as they graduate and enter the work force. A 'Signing Day' followed in June to congratulate our students who signed with a company to begin their training and career.
DCTC teachers will ensure students arrive, resume in hand, ready for the interviews. Special emphasis will be on students who are trained for your area of expertise. At a minimum, students from the following CTE programs will attend:
- Automotive Technology
- Auto Body repair
- Cabinetry & Woodworking
- Civil Engineering
- CNC
- Construction Trades
- Criminal Justice
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Firefighter
- HVAC-R
- Manufacturing Engineering/CNC
- Mechatronics
- Welding
DCTC looks forward to continuing to working with our local employers to expand these excellent opportunities in the skilled trades for our students. Our Spring Skilled Trades Career Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
